Back to E's flat for very late lunch then to the Glenelg beach just in front of her apartment block for a zizz. Later we take an uber taxi into town and go to Pink Moon for drinks and then Golden Boy Thai restaurant for a late supper. Delicious food: sushimi snapper, soft shell crabs, sticky chicken wings, then pork, beef and Barramundi and prawns. All superb, with a couple of bottles of Shaw and Smith Riesling from the Adelaide Hills. Über back and C and I are nodding off in the back!

Saturday 3 February: ADELAIDE
C and E go for a short hot run, whilst I do some lengths in the pool downstairs and then a refreshing dip in the sea. We then drive north through Port Adelaide, with its faded 19th century grandeur to Adventure Kayaking South Australia. With our broad rimmed sun hats firmly on we paddle around, up a mangrove creek until there are too many mosquitoes for comfort and then back with the tide. We see egrets, pelicans, herons and then quite close by a beautiful dolphin, and we can hear it breathing as it surfaces, like a snorkeler. We paddle up to an old ship wreck and then back against the tide, and end our trip after a few hours of paddling.
